For many years I managed a local and family history centre in South Wales, and this is my area of expertise with Family History Records. Working in a Public Library I have had the experience of mentoring complete beginners and guiding more experienced researchers still searching for the final piece of their family tree. In order to help and give the best possible advice and assistance I undertook extra training in local and family history obtaining a Diploma in Local History, an MA in History, as well as specialist genealogical training culminating in obtaining an MSc in Genealogy, Paleography and Heraldic Studies from the University of Strathclyde. This tuition has seen my interest in Genealogy turn into a flourishing business benefiting from over 20 years experience of assisting members of the public wishing to trace their roots.
I am a member of both the Society of Genealogists and the Register of Qualified Genealogists and have been involved with researching both family and local history for myself and for the general public with great success.
